West Midlands “Making Every Contact Count” e-learning is available for staff who are unable to attend a face to face session. The training is offered as 2 modules, along with MECC Plus for Integrated Care:
- Brief Encounters: This first e-learning session, suitable for all frontline staff, is based on a simple ‘Ask, Advise, Assist’ conversation framework.
- Motivating Change: In this second session, the focus is on the behaviour change model and person-centred conversation framework. This session is suitable for staff working with people who are either at high risk of lifestyle-related health conditions or already have one or more health conditions or who care for people with health conditions.
- MECC Plus for Integrated Care: These additional resources complete the toolkit and support the workforce to implement MECC based on Integrated Care principles and practice.
